Storm Reid’s Father Accused Of Walking Out On Bill, Restaurant Employee Claims She Was Almost Forced To Pay For His Meal

An employee of rapper T.I.’s Trap City Cafe has exposed actress Storm Reid’s dad for (allegedly) dodging his tab at the Atlanta-based establishment.

Reportedly, a woman named Chinyere Aniagoh was recently conducting her shift at the popular restaurant when Rodney Reid and an unnamed individual came for a visit.

According to the alleged server, Chinyere Aniagoh, Rodney Reid (who’s seemingly a regular of the facility) and his female companion dined at the bar. The lady opted for a dish while he was said to have gotten an ‘Old Fashioned’ and later requested another round for himself as well as others.

Chinyere Aniagoh explained in a TikTok video,

“Around midnight, [Rodney] walks in with a beautiful woman. They sit down at the bar. She’s cool, she’s ordering food. He orders his usual: an ‘Old Fashioned,’ which I bring to him. [The woman’s] food comes out. We’re talking, she thinks I’m funny–we’re having a good, little time. [Rodney] orders another round, and then he’s trying to order drinks for other people. Good thing I kept their own tabs to themselves! And we’re continuing the night.”

As time progressed, the items began to tally up, and the manager placed a (routine) discount on Rodney Reid’s check to show appreciation for his continued support, according to the reported employee.

However, once presented with his total, Aniagoh claimed that Reid looked at the amount, sat the receipt down, and then glanced at her before getting up from his seat and departing the cafe.

Following his exit, Aniagoh said that she notified her male supervisor of his actions and he rushed out to speak with Reid. When he came back the manager informed Aniagoh that the dad of the “Euphoria” star would return to pay after walking his company to her car.

However, Aniagoh continued and said:

“[My manager] comes back about five minutes later, you guys, [and] says that [Rodney] left.”

As if that wasn’t bizarre enough, Aniagoh then claimed that once her “higher-up manager” arrived on the scene to handle the matter she was told that since Reid was her customer, it was her responsibility to cover his bill.

Allegedly, she had to threaten to call the police before her supervisors settled the dispute by voiding the check.

When asked why Reid didn’t have a card on file for her to charge, Aniagoh detailed,

“We don’t require [customers] to put cards down, but if the tab goes over a hundred dollars, I personally will ask for a credit card just because I know where I work and I know the type of manager that I was dealing with, who is a raging narcissist who doesn’t see anyone else’s perspective and will literally go off at the drop of a dime.”

Apparently, this isn’t Aniagoh’s first time having a discrepancy with Reid’s payment, and he often “brags” about his superstar daughter, Storm, whenever he visits “to get free things.”

Aniagoh has since quit Trap City Cafe and doesn’t have any interest in continuing her career in the restaurant industry. She also noted in a live stream addressing the situation, that she has no issue with T.I., but he should hire better people to run his business.

So far, no word from Reid or Trap City Cafe.
