The details behind Anthony Anderson’s divorce agreement have surfaced.

In March 2022, the “Black-ish” actor’s then-wife, Alvina Stewart, filed for divorce and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. Allegedly, Anthony Anderson had no clue Alvina Stewart had plans to submit legal documents to end their marriage and was at a Pre-Oscar party a few hours before she did so. She also filed for divorce years earlier in 2015 but later withdrew her petition.

Their break-up this time around definitely stuck and new court documents revealed that
Anthony Anderson will have to pay his ex at least $20,000 a month in spousal support. According to TMZ, the hefty figure is actually just the base and the actual amount Alvina Stewart receives will increase if Anthony’s gross annual earnings go over $2 million. If this happens, he’ll have to shell out an additional 20% of his income.

Anthony has also been ordered to hand over Alvina’s glock-19 firearm, which he currently has possession of, to law enforcement within the next 30 days.

As far as the former couple’s joint property, Anthony is keeping their home in California and a 2004 Land Rover. In addition to the alimony, Alvina gets their property in Texas and a 2022 Mazda. They’ve agreed to sell their cemetery plot at Inglewood Park Cemetery and will split the proceeds.
