Update: ‘Euphoria’ Actor Angus Cloud’s Cause Of Death Revealed As Accidental Overdose From Combination Of Lethal Drugs

Update: (Sept. 21, 2023): New details have surfaced surrounding the untimely death of “Euphoria” Star Angus Cloud.

According to reports, the 25-year-old actor passed away from an accidental overdose. The Alameda County Coroner’s report said Angus Cloud suffered “acute intoxication” from a combination of drugs — methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, and benzodiazepines.

As previously reported, in July, news broke that Angus Cloud was found dead just two weeks after posting a sweet message on IG to his late father. As reports about his death circulated, many celebrities and fans shared messages online about how kind and genuine Angus was.

Angus’ HBO co-star Zendaya was one of the stars who spoke out on his behalf, writing,

” I’m so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I’m smiling now just thinking of it) I know people use this expression often when talking about folks they love…“they could light up any room they entered” but boy let me tell you, he was the best at it. I’d like to remember him that way. For all of the boundless light, love and joy he always managed to give us. I’ll cherish every moment.”

‘Euphoria’ Star Angus Cloud has passed away. At this time details surrounding his untimely death have not been revealed. However, the actor’s family shared in a statement with TMZ that he was struggling following the recent death of his father. They said,

“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.”

They continued,

“Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.”

His loved ones added,

“We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.”

Most know the 25-year-old from his role as Fezco in the scripted drama series “Euphoria.” Two weeks ago he shared an IG post dedicated to his dad and captioned the image,
