Kanye West Reportedly Working On New Album, Marking First Major Project Since His Antisemitic Controversy
Is Kanye West gearing up for a comeback?
Kanye West dropped his latest studio album “Donda” in 2021. The project quickly became a hit for music lovers, earning the fashion icon the most first-day streams for an album that year on both Apple Music and Spotify. Despite this, Kanye West has been very vocal about issues he faced before and after dropping “Donda.” In addition to pushing back its initial release date multiple times and living in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium for a while to finish the album, Kanye claimed Universal Music Group ultimately released “Donda” without his approval.

Then, as you may recall, Kanye dealt with bigger issues in 2022 when he found himself at the center of an antisemitic controversy. For the past few months, Kanye has been fairly quiet and keeping away from the public eye the best he can and we now know why. According to reports, he’s been busy in the studio working on his eleventh solo studio album. An insider shared with TMZ that Kanye is in a “truly great headspace” and completed nearly 10 tracks this week alone.

And for the Kanye fans who miss his original sound, his upcoming project will allegedly be more like the “old Kanye” with less political theatrics. As of now, it’s unclear if the album will have any features but Ty Dolla $ign has reportedly been spotted in the studio with the “Moon” artist.
