Offset Says He Did Not Contact The Police After Nicki Minaj’s Husband Kenneth Petty Publicly Made Threats Against Him: ‘I’m Just Too Old To Participate In Stuff Like That’
Rapper Offset won’t be contacting the police if he has an issue with you.
Last month the internet had a field day when news broke that Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, was placed on house arrest after making threats against Offset. In the footage shared online, Kenneth Petty and a few of his associates appeared to be outside of a hotel they believed Offset was staying at. The men gave multiple heated warnings to the Migos rapper, which reportedly stemmed from a situation that occurred at the VMAs the week prior.

Shortly after the verbal threats went viral, Petty was placed on house arrest for 120 days due to his remarks being a probation violation. At the time, it was speculated Offset was the one who called the police on the 45-year-old. However, during a recent interview with “The Breakfast Club,” Offset shared that he had nothing to do with the repercussions Petty was hit with.

When asked if authorities contacted him about the threats to see if he wanted to press charges, the “JEALOUSY” artist said,
“Hell naw. Police ain’t never calling me. I ain’t got no number for ya…I would never do no lame-*ss sh*t like that. I’d rather keep it in the street than do some sh*t like that. All that sh*t a joke. Grown-*ss man doing sh*t like that…I just laugh at sh*t like that.”
He continued,
“I’m 30 years old. You know how long it took me to get away from that – that b*llsh*t online?”

Offset added,
“I’m just too old to participate in sh*t like that. I think sometimes n*gg*s want you to be tough. But when you crash out they call you stupid.”
Later in the chat he seemingly touched on his wife’s – Cardi B – ongoing feud with Nicki Minaj and said,
“I always say this, I don’t ever get in that ‘cause I’m a man. So the man should stay the f*ck away…whatever is going on – I don’t get in that…’cause I’m a man. I’m not getting in that business.”
