Update: Jonathan Majors’ Ex-Girlfriend Grace Jabbari Will Not Be Prosecuted For Allegedly Assaulting Him Despite Her Recent Arrest
Update: (Oct 26, 2023): Looks like the Manhattan D.A.’s office and the NYPD are a little conflicted over what to do with Jonathan Majors’ claims about his ex, Grace Jabbari.
Last night (Oct. 25) news broke that the “Barbie” dancer surrendered to NYC police for allegedly physically assaulting Majors. In March, Majors was arrested over claims that he harmed his then-girlfriend amid a verbal dispute they were having about text messages on his phone. The Marvel star has adamantly denied Jabbari’s version of what occurred that night, claiming she was the one who became aggressive. In June, he filed a cross-complaint against the choreographer.
Months later, Jabbari was booked for misdemeanor assault and criminal mischief. However, the Manhattan D.A.’s office reportedly filed court papers noting that they have no intention of prosecuting Jabbari for “the belated allegations made by defendant [Majors] regarding the incident on March 25, 2023.”
Reportedly, the D.A.’s office also informed the NYPD last month where they stand on the entire situation. Jabbari’s lawyer gave a statement to a publication and said,
“Before we walked into the police precinct, the DA’s Office made clear that they would not be charging Ms. Jabbari with any offense.”
They added,
“It is unfortunate and re-traumatizing when a survivor of intimate partner violence is forced to endure an arrest, but Ms. Jabbari is an extremely strong and resilient person who is determined to move forward.”
Original Story: (Oct 24, 2023): Jonathan Majors’ ex-girlfriend has been charged with assault after she initially accused the actor of domestic violence earlier this year.
According to RadarOnline, Jonathan Majors’ ex and accuser, Grace Jabbari, has been summoned to appear in a New York courtroom to accept the assault charge. The recent report comes seven months after the 34-year-old was accused of assault and harassment by Jabbari.
As previously reported, the “Creed III” actor was arrested in New York on March 25 for allegedly physically abusing Grace Jabbari during a dispute. However, Jonathan Majors’ has denied the allegations and claimed his ex is the one who became violent after he allegedly received text messages from another woman.
In June, the entertainer filed a domestic violence complaint against Grace Jabbari, defending the claim that she was the one who attacked him prior to his arrest.
Since then, Majors’ and his legal team have maintained his innocence and alleged that during the incident, Jabbari scratched, slapped, and grabbed at his face, which caused pain and bleeding. Reports claim she was also “drunk and hysterical.”

Majors’ defense attorney Priya Chaudhry previously spoke on the abuse claims and said,
“From the beginning, we have said Jonathan Majors is innocent and provably the victim here. Last week, for the first time, Mr. Majors met with the NYPD to present them with evidence of what really happened on that night. Within hours of viewing the evidence, and conducting their own thorough investigation, the NYPD found probable cause to arrest Grace Jabbari for assaulting Jonathan Majors.”
Majors is reportedly scheduled to appear in court for the case on October 25.
