Kylie Jenner Reveals She ‘Never Fully Cut’ Jordyn Woods Out Of Her Life Following Tristan Thompson Cheating Scandal

You shouldn’t let a little infidelity come between you and your best friend. 

At one point in time, Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods seemed to be inseparable. However, things between the two socialites forever changed in 2019 when news broke that Jordyn Woods was spotted kissing Kylie Jenner’s older sister’s – Khloé Kardashian – then-boyfriend, NBA star Tristan Thompson. Following the cheating incident, the Kardashian/Jenner clan reportedly wiped their hands clean of all things concerning Jordyn Woods. However, over the summer, Kylie and Jordyn, both 26, were seen in public together for the first time in years. 

During a recent interview held by actress Jennifer Lawrence, Kylie revealed how the now-viral sushi date came to be and how long it really took for her and Jordyn to work things out. The mother-of-two shared, 

“Jordyn and I, we always stayed in touch throughout the years and we would meet up at my house and catch up and just talk through everything. We never fully cut each other off, and one day, naturally, we were like, we want to get sushi and we don’t want to hide anymore.”

Kylie then touched on how she was able to find the good in what went down between her (former) best friend and sister.

“There’s a learning lesson in everything, and I think that in a weird way, everything happens how it’s supposed to happen. We were so attached at the hip that we needed space to grow into the people that we were supposed to be. I needed that independence and that confidence because she was like my security blanket for so long.”

This isn’t the first time that Kylie has said some good came with her break from Jordyn. As previously reported, during a recent episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashian,” the makeup mogul received an apology from Tristan Thompson, 32, for the harm his actions caused. In part, he said, 

“You guys were two peas in a pod, so the fact that I put myself in that situation, that wasn’t right and wasn’t smart and made it tough for you and Khloé. Because at the end of the day, you have your best friends and then you have your sister who you love more than anything else, so it’s 100 percent on me.”

Kylie accepted his apology and hinted that her time away from Jordyn ultimately helped her do some much-needed growing.
