Megan Thee Stallion Suggests Former Friend Kelsey Nicole ‘Took Some Money’ Or Is In Danger Following Reports That Tory Lanez’s Driver Allegedly Named Her As The Shooter: ‘Why Won’t You Say You Didn’t Do It?!’

Rap star Megan Thee Stallion recently addressed new reports regarding Tory Lanez’s shooting case.

The Houston native was unchanging in her story about who pulled the trigger injuring her foot, and also slammed her former friend Kelsey Nicole Harris for not publicly defending herself.

Megan ‘Thee Stallion’ Pete, 28, took to her social media to double down on her original story that Tory Lanez, real name Daystar Peterson, is the one who shot her back in 2020. Claiming that new allegations surrounding the incident are just an attempt to help Lanez’s appeal that was recently denied, she stated:

“Motherf*ckers are getting denied every time they try to set a motion for a new trial, so they trying to pull sh*t out the air…I’m not about to keep going with y’all.”

The “Cobra” artist then questioned why people continue to defend Lanez even after he didn’t take the stand during the trial. If you recall, the 31-year-old controversially opted not to testify on his own behalf, which he later claimed was at the advice of his attorneys at the time. Ultimately, the Canadian was found guilty on three felony charges and sentenced to 10 years behind bars.

During her live stream, Megan urged everyone who is still confused about the matter to go back and read the actual court documents, adamantly stating that there is “no new evidence” to be heard. Her remarks follow recent blog posts that said Lanez’s driver Jaquan Smith, who was present during the incident, allegedly signed an affidavit claiming to have seen Kelsey Nicole Harris with a gun in hand.

Allegedly, Smith claimed to have seen Harris with the weapon after she became upset upon finding out Lanez and Megan were involved in a relationship behind her back. Smith reportedly wrote in the document that the ladies verbally and physically fought, and suggested the rapper’s ex-friend was the one who fired off the shot.

However, Megan insisted that there was no truth in Smith’s alleged claims. Confirming that Lanez was the shooter while blasting Kelsey for remaining silent, she added,

“Kelsey didn’t motherf*cking shoot me…her main problem with me was ‘you won’t tell people I didn’t shoot you.’ I was like ‘Kelsey I don’t want to talk about this on social media at all,’ but now you won’t even get online and defend yourself. So that really just proves my point that either you took some money or you’re life is in danger!”

She continued:

“The case already won in court…if you say you didn’t shoot me, why won’t you get on the stand and say ‘I didn’t shoot this b*tch…’you should’ve said ‘I didn’t do it Kelsey did it’. If she did it, why wouldn’t you just say she did it. Kelsey if you did not do it, why won’t you just say ‘I did not do it.’ I know who shot me, I said who shot me and that’s why the f*ck you in jail. Y’all motherf*ckers are dragging it online like it’s some new evidence, there’s no new evidence.”

It does not seem that Lanez’s lawyers have made any public statements about the situation at this time.
