Justine Skye Calls Out People For ‘Jumping On A Hate Train’ As She Defends Nicki Minaj
Justine Skye is not here for the Nicki Minaj haters.
The singer-actress defended the Pink Friday emcee on X on Thursday (Dec. 14), calling out anonymous sources for focusing on false narratives and jumping on hate trains instead of valuing successful Black women.
Justine Skye said,
“Nicki has always been animated and theatrical in her own way, from day one. That’s how she became to be the icon we know today. That a lot of female artist get inspiration from today. Just because everyone loves to hyper fixate on a negative or false narrative and jump on a hate train doesn’t take away from the facts and accomplishments.”

She continued,
“I hate how comfortable and quick our community is to join together in negativity towards successful black women/men before lifting them up. Some of yall are focused on the wrong thing and then wonder why the stereotypical path for black artist is when they blow up they “forget their people” … this sh*t is not easy, LIFE that is.”
While it is unknown what prompted Justine Skye to defend Nicki Minaj, her tweet came after the Barbz CEO appeared on Kai Cenat‘s popular livestream after midnight Thursday. In one clip circulating across X, Nicki Minaj is rapping one of her songs and seemingly implies that she’s going to kick the Twitch star in the face.
Kai Cenat didn’t seem to be offended, as he jokingly asks,
“Were you just trying to kick me in my face? I thought we was teammates.”
The pair seemed to have a good time during the livestream, and Kai Cenat even let his mother and sister meet Nicki.
