Hazel E Reacts To Masika Kalysha Dismissing Her From $6 Million Lawsuit She Filed Against Her & The Zeus Network Following Their Fight In 2020: ‘It Was Frivolous To Being With’

Looks like the longstanding legal battle between reality stars Hazel E and Masika Kalysha has finally concluded.

A recent report from Radar Online stated that Masika recently dismissed all charges against Hazel E after previously suing her over a fight on the Zeus Network.

If you recall, Masika Kalysha, 38, and Hazel E, 43, have had a mutual disdain for one another since their days together on “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood”.  Back in 20202, the Zeus network hosted a sit down conversation between the two that was meant to be a mediation for them to work out their issues. However, the taping quickly turned sour resulting in Masika throwing a class of champagne at Hazel E before she was escorted off camera.

However, it was the aftermath of the fight that prompted Masika to file suit. Reportedly, the legal documents claimed that Hazel E and her friend Jayla Williams came into Masika’s dressing room after the taping and jumped her. She says she suffered serious injuries from the altercation, including a broken finger and severe bruising. If you recall at the time, Hazel E publicly stated that Masika ended up calling the cops on her to get her and her associate arrested.

In the suit, Masika named Hazel E, Williams, as well as Zeus as defendants, additionally accusing the network’s security guard who broke up the fight of groping her during the separation. She reportedly requested $6 million in damages and asked the court to require the fight to be removed from online. Though Maskika has now dismissed Hazel E from the suit, her fight with Zeus is reportedly still ongoing. The network reportedly submitted a recent motion that the case to be moved to arbitration, arguing that Masika signed an agreement to settle any discrepancies with the production company privately.

At this time, it doesn’t appear that Masika has reacted publicly to the matter. However, Hazel E did take to social media with a response. She reposted an article of her dismal to her X account, adding:

“it was frivolous to begin with.”
