‘RHOP’ Star Gizelle Bryant Slammed By Viewers For Laughing At Candiace Dillard Bassett As She Cried During Reunion Special

Candiace Dillard Bassett and Gizelle Bryant probably won’t make up anytime soon.

If you didn’t know, ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac’ cast member Gizelle Bryant is trending online for bursting into laughter after seeing her co-star, Candiace Dillard Bassett, in tears.

The now-viral moment took place during part one of the show’s reunion special for season 8, where host Andy Cohen asked Candiace Dillard Bassett a question from one of the viewers.

He read off the cue card,

“After watching the season back and all of the conversations you had with Robyn [Dixon], do you still believe she conspired with Gizelle and Ashley to malign Chris in an effort to protect Juan?”

As previously reported, the last season of the Bravo hit saw Gizelle Bryant claim that Dillard Bassett’s husband, Chris, made her feel “uncomfortable” when he supposedly wanted to speak with her in a private suite.

However, while Bryant’s right-hand woman, fellow Housewife Robyn Dixon, initially stood with Dillard Bassett, the feud only spiraled. Ultimately, the ‘Green-Eyed Bandits,’ known as Bryant and Robyn Dixon, spewed rumors that the “Drive Back” singer’s partner, Chris, had been unfaithful to her.

As a result, Dillard Bassett, who recently announced her departure from the series, seemingly believed they were on a mission to take her marriage down and cover up the cheating allegations against her former friend, Robyn Dixon’s mate, Juan.

Responding to Andy Cohen, Dillard Bassett said from the reunion couch:

“I think that [Robyn] knew by talking about my business, it would keep her business under the table.”

When asked what each of the ladies needed from each other to move forward, she grew emotional, with Bryant comically adding,

“Not tears!”

Bryant then erupted into a laughing fit as Dillard Bassett clapped back:

“F*ck you! F*ck you! F*ck you!”

Overlooking Dillard Bassett’s words, Bryant chanted,

“Tears! Tears! Tears! Tears! Them fake tears be coming! [laughs]”

Andy Cohen felt that the 53-year-old’s sarcastic cheer came off as “kind of mean,” while the other ladies sat with silent reactions.
