‘Love Is Blind’ Star Marshall Glaze Announces Engagement To Girlfriend Following Viral Split From Ex-Fiancée Jackie Bonds

“Love Is Blind” alum Marshall Glaze is officially engaged! The reality TV star revealed today (Jan. 23) that he proposed to his girlfriend, Dr. Chay Barnes, a few days before Christmas. In the heartfelt video post of the proposal, Marshall is all smiles as he gets down on one knee to pop the big question. He captioned his post,

“Such a special day – She had NO idea. GOTCHA!”

For those who may need a refresher, Marshall quickly became a fan favorite amid season four of “Love Is Blind,” which dropped in March of last year. Viewers watched as he attempted to make it to his wedding day with his then-fiancée Jackie Bonds. However, Jackie called things off to be with another cast member before she even had a chance to walk down the aisle. She faced a lot of backlash for the way she seemingly decided to enter another relationship before ending things with Marshall. She also was slammed for refusing to give back the engagement ring.

Jackie has since issued a statement claiming that the edits of the Netflix show made things look worse than they were and she broke up with Marshall prior to moving on to someone else.

Despite his initial reaction to their split, Marshall didn’t seem to stay down for too long. The businessman introduced the new leading lady of his life, Chay Barnes, to the world during the “After the Altar” episodes of “Love Is Blind.” He expressed to a series co-star,

“I do know that’s who I want. That’s who I wanna spend my life with.”

He added

“First person I want to call is her, and that says something. I just feel it. I’m happy, man. I’m extremely happy.”
