James Wright Chanel Sues Chrisean Rock For Allegedly Attacking Him At Tamar Braxton Concert, Says She Wore Rings ‘Equivalent To Brass Knuckles’ While Hitting Him & Called Him A Homophobic Slur

Singer James Wright Chanel has taken legal action against reality star Chrisean Rock.

According to reports, the musician filed a lawsuit against the “Baddies” cast member Tuesday (Feb. 6th) for allegedly assaulting him back in November.

If you recall, reports that Chrisean ‘Rock’ Malone attacked James Wright Chanel and sent him to the hospital began shortly after one of Tamar Braxton’s concerts at the time. In the new lawsuit, Wright confirmed for the first time many of the details that were reported. He claimed that the “Vibe” artist allegedly became irate because she expected to perform one of her songs at the concert. However, James Wright Chanel commented that she was only supposed to participate in a dance at the end of the show, which allegedly set her off and led to her hitting him in the face. Wright’s legal team claimed that he was hit multiple times in the suit, writing:

“She hit him multiple times in the face for no reason at all. We were surprised that she was able to leave the facility that night.”

They added:

“She had on rings that were pretty much equivalent to brass knuckles.”

The suit went on to claim that Wright had to be treated for cuts to his face and two broken teeth as a result of the incident. Additionally, Chrisean was accused of hurling a homophobic slur at Wright as she was being escorted from the area. Reports state that the internet personality was threatening to hit James Wright Chanel again during the moment. He also noted that Tamar Braxton was present during the altercation, suggesting she witnessed the entire thing.

Braxton also confirmed as much shortly after the incident occurred. Initially, Chrisean denied she was involved in any physical situation online and claimed people were “clout chasing” off of her name. A few months later, however, Tamar Braxton released video footage of Wright being lightly treated for his tooth and face injuries in the aftermath of the fight. In the video clip she stated:

“At this point, it has gotten above and beyond out of control. Nobody is lying on nobody…nobody is trying to get on Zeus…his tooth is chipped. He didn’t chip it himself, [his] nose [is] busted.”

It’s noted that Wright filed a criminal case against Rock back in January, accusing her of assault with a deadly weapon and battery. It does not appear that either of them has spoken about the suit publicly at this time.
