Exclusive: ‘Basketball Wives: LA’ Gearing Up To Film New Season, Evelyn Lozada & Jennifer Williams Confirmed To Return
Season 12 of “Basketball Wives: LA” should be coming to a screen near you soon!
theJasmineBrand exclusively reports that production for the popular reality TV series is slated to start soon. The Los Angeles branch of “Basketball Wives” is the second installment of the franchise, first premiering in 2011, and just like the original Miami series, it follows the lives of women who have or had connections to men with ties to the NBA. No word just yet on when season 12 will air, however, we can fill you in on the two ladies who are definitely expected to return.

According to our sources, OGs Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer Williams, both 48, are coming back! Over the years viewers have watched the besties-turned-enemies-turned-besties again share the ins and outs of the dynamics of their relationship, respective dating lives, work lives, and so much more. We broke the news last May that Evelyn Lozada was making her return to the show after stepping away in 2021.

During a 2020 interview with famed reality TV producer Carlos King, Jennifer Williams spoke on where she stood with Evelyn Lozada at the time and said things between them are unrepairable. She said,
“Evelyn and I were friends for over 20 years. … Sometimes you outgrow people and some things you can’t come back from and sometimes you try and it doesn’t work and for me, it’s like I did at one point value our friendship and there’s no ill will, I wish Evelyn well but I don’t want her in my world. I don’t want the energy…as Nene Leakes would say, ‘The door is closed.’ I feel like I’ve tried and it just never works because it’s always something and I’m at the point in my life where I really don’t care.”

However, last season the women did the necessary work on-screen to repair their damaged friendship and we even saw Evelyn have a candid sit-down with Jennifer Williams’ now-fiancé Christian Gold about his intentions with her bff. Things between the socialites might not be perfect, but they always seem to find their way back to each other no matter what.
Details on the ladies who will untimely round out the cast have yet to be revealed.
