Tami Roman Shares Support Of Wendy Williams As Public Reacts To Recently Revealed Dementia Diagnosis & Controversial Docuseries: ‘I Haven’t Stopped Praying For You’

Wendy Williams has a lot of people rallying for her well-being and healing.

As recently reported, Wendy Williams’ team revealed last week that she was diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia (FTD) sometime in 2023. Fans of the famed talk show host got a chance to see for themselves how Wendy Williams has been dealing with the diagnosis and her ongoing battle with Graves’ Disease and Lymphedema thanks to the recently released Lifetime docuseries titled “Where is Wendy Williams?”

Since part one of the series released on February 24, many have taken to the internet to defend Wendy against the way she’s portrayed in the project. Reality TV vet and actress Tami Roman was one of the countless people who expressed an issue with the Lifetime documentary. Via her X account, “The Ms. Pat Show” star shared a throwback image of herself next to Wendy and wrote,

“Wendy Williams always used her platform to help put me in a position to win. This documentary saddens me”

The post continued,

“Wendy you will forever be loved & respected by me & I haven’t stopped praying for you… the Queen of Media!”

Reportedly, the 4-part docuseries centered around Wendy was filmed between August 2022 and April 2023. On Friday (Feb. 23) Wendy’s legal guardian, a woman named Sabrina Morrissey, tried to stop the release of the project by filing a lawsuit against Lifetime’s parent company A&E Networks. However, the court quickly ruled that the network could air the docuseries as planned because stopping the release would violate the First Amendment of the Constitution, according to reports.
