Columbus Short Recounts A Late-Night Call With Diddy, Alleges Music Mogul Invited Him To His Hotel Room But He Declined: ‘Nah, Man… I’m Good’
More shocking allegations are coming out about Sean “Diddy” Combs.
During an interview with BOSS TALK 101, actor Columbus Short claims that the Bad Boy founder once called him after attending the BET Awards and invited the Stomp the Yard actor to his hotel room at 2 a.m. During the phone call, Columbus Short alleges Sean “Diddy” Combs expressed,
“We didn’t see you tonight at the BET Awards. We didn’t see you tonight. What you doing?”
According to the actor and choreographer, Sean “Diddy” Combs told him he was staying at a nearby hotel. Then, when Short asked who else was over there, Diddy informed him he was alone. Short, who noted his wife was with him, said he replied,
“Nah, man. I’m in bed, bruh; I’m good.”
The music mogul allegedly said, “Ight. Ight,” and then hung up the phone call.
Also, in the interview, the Stomp the Yard star reiterated that he didn’t go to Diddy’s hotel room and had not seen the rapper since the interaction. He also mentioned he heard stories about Diddy’s after-parties but never attended one.
Short also shared a separate story where he felt uneasy at a party, possibly because something was placed in his drink, which prompted him to leave immediately. After he took a shot, the actor thought to himself several minutes later,
“Some wrong. Some wrong. Some wrong cause I’m getting dizzy. I’m trying to stay focused. I start getting a little sweaty.”
Short then said he asked where the bathroom was located. When he found it, he said he forced himself to throw up. After hearing the actor hurl outside the bathroom door, Short’s manager asked if he was alright. When he replied “I don’t know,” the manager told the actor the driver of their car was still outside so they could leave the party. The Cadillac Records actor concluded,
“That was the night that being an alcoholic saved my life and my bootyhole.”
Short did not say the incident took place at Diddy’s home or one of his parties.
The ‘Scandal’ alum’s claims aren’t the only allegations against Diddy. Most recently, the Harlem native has reportedly been accused of sexual assault by a former male employee.
According to multiple reports, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, who worked as a producer and videographer on Diddy’s “Love” album, alleged that Diddy “sexually harassed, drugged and threatened him” for more than a year, according to the suit. Rodney Jones is seeking $30 million in damages.
The lawsuit also names Diddy’s 30-year-old son, Justin Combs; his chief of staff, Kristina Khorram; Universal Music Group CEO Sir Lucian Grainge; and former Motown Records CEO Ethiopia Habtemariam as defendants.
