Update (March 5): Katt Williams is sharing his thoughts on Nicki Minaj’s invitation for him to join her on her global ‘Pink Friday 2’ tour.

During a performance in Charlotte, North Carolina, for his own ‘The Dark Matter Tour’, Katt Williams told the audience,

“Nicki Minaj said she wanted me on her tour and she told so many people a million people hit my phone at the same time.”

He jokingly referenced AT&T’s recent blackout and continued,

“It scared me and Jesus. He shut all of AT&T down so my phone could cool off on the charger,” 

He didn’t reveal if he’ll be joining Nicki Minaj. See his remarks below:

Original Story (Feb. 20): Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday 2’ tour could bring laughs if she gets Katt Williams to join her.

The rapper recently asked her followers on Instagram Live, 

“I know that this is the busiest man in show business, okay? I know that he’s rich, and I know that he’s the funniest man in showbiz. Can y’all hit up Katt Williams and ask him what would be his price to be part of the Pink Friday 2 Gag City Tour?”

Earlier this year, Katt Williams dominated internet headlines after his controversial appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s podcast, ‘Club Shay Shay,’ which has currently raked in over 50 million views.

On the podcast, Katt Williams called out multiple famous comedians, such as Steve Harvey and Cedric the Entertainer, for allegedly not being truthful about comments made on their previous appearances on Shannon Sharpe’s show. He also accused his fellow comedians of not being transparent about how they achieved their success.

Williams is currently on a comedy tour called “The Dark Matter Tour.” The comedian and actor has a comedy show at the Colonial Life Arena in Colombia, South Carolina, this Friday (Feb. 23). The tour is set to conclude on May 11 at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

If Williams joins Nicki Minaj’s tour, he will have to decide soon. It begins in a little over a week, on March 1 at Oakland Arena in Oakland, California. The tour will then end in Stockholm, Sweden, on June 12.
