Actor Tyrin Turner Slams Suge Knight’s Allegations That He And Jamie Foxx Had A Secret Romantic Relationship + Addresses Claims That Will Smith & Duane Martin Are Gay

Tyrin Turner has responded to Suge Knight’s claims about his sexuality. 

In the Art of Dialogue podcast, Tyrin Turner denied he and fellow actor Jamie Foxx had a secret romantic relationship. Suge Knight appeared to make the claim from prison on his verified X account a few months ago.

The former CEO of Death Row Records is currently serving a 28-year prison sentence for voluntary manslaughter after crashing his pickup truck into music industry veteran Terry Carter and actor/filmmaker Cle “Bone” Sloan in 2015, killing Terry Carter.

Tyrin Turner recalled finding out about Suge Knight’s claims, and how he initially believed they stemmed from a dispute between them. Turner did not mention what the quarrel was about. Instead, he said,

“I thought we squashed whatever that was, so I’m thinking that’s what it is.”

After the incident, the “Menace II Society” star claimed he discovered that someone hacked Suge Knight’s verified X account and created the relationship accusation against him and Jamie Foxx. During the podcast, Turner shared that if Suge Knight had an issue with him, he knew where to find him.  

“If Suge wanted to talk to me, he know how to contact me. He contacted me the last time we had an issue, an altercation, so he figured out how to get to me, so I’m sure there’s some kind of jail phone in there that can reach to me.”

He added, 

“I would’ve never thought in a million years that Suge would say that, put something out there like that on somebody being gay like that, especially in a time where we’re living in where it’s okay. I had an uncle that was gay, you know what I’m saying, it’s nothing wrong with it, so it’s like really corny.”

Elsewhere in the podcast, Turner also addressed allegations from Will Smith’s ex-assistant, Brother Bilaal, that the King Richard actor and Duane Martin are gay. 

Turner conveyed, 

“I heard the little assistant dude come on and say something about some anal stuff, whatever that is, I don’t know. I’m just saying I heard what the dude said, but for me, Will Smith ain’t never; he’s always been cool. A cool person. I don’t know, I don’t know that side.”

He continued, 

“I know that there’s always two sides to a story, you know what I’m saying, but I don’t know that side. I know that there’s a back side, but that’s not the side that I know.”

A spokesperson for Will Smith dismissed the allegations as “unequivocally false.” 

Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, also confirmed she and her husband plan to take legal action against Brother Bilaal. During an interview on the “Breakfast Club” in November 2023, she said,

“It’s ridiculous, right? And it’s nonsense. And this is a person that tried a shake-down, a money shake-down that didn’t work [and] we’re going to take legal action. Because it’s one thing to have your opinion about somebody versus just making up salacious, malicious stories.”
