Draya Michele Announces She’s 7 Months Pregnant w/A Baby Girl: ‘We Are Overjoyed’

Congratulations are in order for reality TV star Draya Michele!

The 39-year-old recently revealed that she’s 28 weeks pregnant and expressed her excitement to welcome her first daughter.

Sharing several stunning images from her maternity shoot, Draya Michele wrote alongside her announce post:

“Happy #InternationalWomensDay ! As women, we navigate through so much, often leading us to question, “What is my purpose?” For me, the magic lies in motherhood and the awe-inspiring ability to bring life into this world over the span of two decades. It’s my superpower. And if anything can surpass the wonder of being a woman, it’s the privilege of bringing another woman into existence .”

She continued:

“We are overjoyed to share our love for you, little girl. I’m am excited to speak words to the daughter I never thought I’d have. We are anxious about your arrival, but take your time — this world can be tough. But know you are being brought into a space of love, security, and adornment.”

Michele didn’t offer any details as far as the child’s father goes, though that didn’t stop social media users from sharing their speculations. As we’ve been covering recently, it’s been rumored that the Basketball Wives alum has been dating 21-year-old NBA star Jalen Green. The two were first spotted together back in August of last year and inquiries into their possible romance have only heated since.

Just last month, Michele first sparked pregnancy rumors after donning large overalls to one of Green’s basketball games. The model trended for some time as social media users debated the moral implications of her possibly being pregnant by Greene, who is nearly the same age as her eldest son Kniko Howard. However, Michele seemed to be trying to shut down the rumors by posting a slim video of herself having fun on a beach.

It seems Michele wanted to wait until she neared the end of her pregnancy to share the news, and social media users have been reacting in the same critical manner that they did when her romance with Green first began circulating. Michele did have many supporters show up, however, who offered congratulations and encouragement.

Along with Kniko, Michele also shares one other son Jru with her ex-fiancé Orlando Scandrick.
