Is 38-Year-Old Draya Michele Dating 21-Year-Old NBA Star Jalen Green? Social Media Reacts!

There just might be a new celebrity romance in the works!

“Basketball Wives” alum Draya Michele is suspected of dating NBA star Jalen Green after the two were spotted out together recently.

In a series of photographs, Draya Michele, 38, dons a casually fitted green two piece set while walking alongside the Houston Rockets player. Jalen Green, who turned 21 earlier this year, seems to try and contain his smile in one photo, while rocking a plain white t-shirt and camo-shorts. None of the images captured happen to show the two being intimate whatsoever. The entertainers don’t even seem to appear to walk close enough to touch each other, making dating rumors based solely on them being out publicly together.

Additionally, neither Michele nor Green, who have a 17 year age gap, have commented on the rumors at this time. However, social media users gladly weighed in on the dating murmurs. Many condemned the reality star for even appearing to date someone so much younger than she. While other praised the athlete for stepping out with one of the internet world’s elite pretty women.

As some users pointed out, Michele’s potential relationship with Green seems extra odd considering she has a son around the same age. Back in 2021, the Mintswim founder celebrated sending her eldest child Kniko off to his first year of college at Georgia State. The mom shared several images of them moving on to the campus with the caption:

“Well. It’s official. I’m a college mom. I’m so proud of you son!!!!!! College whew, I mean I knew you’d make it here. I hope you grow, learn, make new friends here in ATL SHAWTY I love you. Of all the things I’ve ever done wrong in this life you were there with me in the struggle always and you’re proof that I did ONE THING right (that’s you) love you. Gotta blast and cry. BRB.”

Michele also shares 7-year-old son Jru with her ex fiancé, former NFL player Orlando Scandrick. The pair met in 2013 and became engaged two years after. However by 2019, the reality star announced she parted ways with the athlete, allegedly alluding to excessive flirting and infidelity as reasons for the split. Michele has remained mostly quiet on the dating front since, with her recent speculations with Green being the first rumored romance in some time.

As far as Green’s dating life goes, the California native was previously romantically linked to social media influencer Brea Hicks, 24. Green appeared in several of Hicks social media posts dating back to 2020, and she was even by his side when he was drafted #2 overall in 2021. It’s unclear when the pair split, however. Hicks has since cleared her page of any remnants of the basketball athlete. Which has resulted in the internet being free to run wild with speculations about Green’s new fling with Michele.
