Larsa Pippen Has No Problem Giving Her 15-Year-Old Daughter A Monthly Allowance of $2500 Because ‘LA Is Super Expensive’

Larsa Pippen is not letting anyone tell her how to raise her children.

On Thursday (March 7), during the reunion episode of ‘Real Housewives of Miami’, Larsa Pippen verified that she gives her daughter Sophia Pippen a substantial allowance of $2500. The reality TV personality cited the high cost of living in Los Angeles, where the 15-year-old resides with her father, NBA legend Scottie Pippen.

As she responded to a viewer’s question concerning the hefty allowance, Larsa Pippen stated,

“You guys understand, like, LA is super expensive. So, like, after school, she orders food or Uber or, like, you know, buys presents for her friends’ birthdays.”

The reality star made sure that everyone knew that despite giving her daughter a monthly allowance, Sophia Pippen earns her own money as well. She shared,

“I have a deal with Fashion Nova and they gave her a deal, and she was the face for Oscar de la Renta. She literally makes money, you know?” 

In an earlier episode, Larsa Pippen also revealed that her daughter transitioned to California to live there with her father to complete high school in Los Angeles.

She said,

“Sophia is a freshman in high school. She wanted to go to school in LA this year.”

Later on in the ‘Housewives’ reunion, Larsa Pippen had a heated exchange with fellow castmates, Guerdy Abraira and Alexia Nepola. Andy Cohen recalled that earlier in the season, Larsa Pippen mentioned the need to have multiple income streams because she did not have a husband providing for her like Alexia Nepola’s husband, Todd Nepola.

Since the remark offended Alexia Nepola, Larsa Pippen then decided to share additional details regarding her financial circumstances following her divorce from Scottie Pippen.

The reality TV star stated,

“You have dual income in your home, my love, you have a husband [who helps you], I don’t have that.”

Larsa Pippen and Scottie Pippen officially ended their marriage in 2021. Apart from their daughter, they also share three sons: Scottie Pippen Jr., Preston Pippen, and Justin Pippen.
