Finesse2Tymes Speaks Out After Mother Of His 11-Year-Old Artist Calls CPS Claiming She Hasn’t Seen Her Son In Weeks, Says Woman Is Upset They Won’t Give Her Money To Support Her ‘Habits’
A mother is demanding answers after allegedly not seeing her 11-year-old son in weeks.
Rising rapper FNG King is the protege of Memphis native Finesse2Tymes, 31. In a post shared earlier this year on Instagram, Finesse2Tymes gave insight into his bond with the young boy and shared how their relationship came to be, by writing, in part,
“Its been almost a year since I took him in, I knew u had potential, I Never Made $1 Off This Young Man – It was never for the money, I just wanted to get him off the streets, I love u like your my own, I understand your story and I’m here to see u in a better position”
As previously reported, Finesse2Tymes has seemingly been the main guardian for FNG King since his mother, a woman named Tiffany Moore, was arrested last May for allegedly stabbing her own mother around 10 times with a pair of scissors. According to the police report, the elderly woman was found with wounds on her neck and back when authorities arrived at the scene of the Memphis residence on Davis Street. Moore was reportedly charged with attempted first-degree murder.
It seems that Moore was recently released from jail and has since taken issue with her child living with Finesse2Tymes, born Ricky Hampton, instead of his grandmother who is reportedly his court-appointed guardian. In a post shared on Facebook, Finesse2Tymes claimed that Moore called CPS on him, alleging she hadn’t seen her son in a while. The “Back End” rapper wrote,
“See what I’m saying? Now king mama done called cps, tawkn about she don’t know we’re he at and haven’t seen him since she got out of jail “ALL BECAUSE KING WONT GIVE HER MONEY TO SUPPORT HER HABITS” WHY? This young man lives in a million doller home, with his own everything, don’t have to worry about dodging bullets, or being hungry running around memphis with grown men shooting dice that’ll actually HURT HIM for a few dollars,”
The post continued,
“why would u even RISK that for your kid? I bring him to see his grandma EVERYTIME I’m in Memphis, I give her $1,000 king gives her $1,000 we laugh, kick it, and leave. See what I mean? Is it ever gone stop? Everybody want money and fame until they get it”
Many have weighed in on the matter in the post’s comment section. Some expressed that Finesse2Tymes should be granted legal custody of the minor, however, others argued that Moore has a right to demand to see her child, regardless of what’s going on in her personal life.
