GloRilla
It seems that GloRilla, real name Gloria Hallelujah Woods, 24, took a trip to D.C. this past Monday (March 18th). The White House was hosting their annual Women’s History Month Reception which held the attendance of President Joe Biden, First Lady Jill Biden, as well as Vice President Kamala Harris. GloRilla was all smiles in posts she uploaded to her Instagram page after the event, where she took selfies with the President and VP, adding as a caption:
“YEAH JOE 2024”

The “Tomorrow Two” rapper’s White House visit was also subsequently spotlighted on CNN. During the discussion, GloRilla opened up about how exciting it was to meet the heads of state and spoke about how much the moment meant to her and her family who came from nothing. While the interview was heartwarming enough, social media users particularly reacted to the musician’s comment about whether or not the visit was political and if she was asked to endorse President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign, to which she responded:
“Hey you know that ain’t got nothing to do with me, know what I’m saying I was just living my life like it’s golden,”

She added:
“I’m not gon’, you know what I’m sayin’, talk politics but I love the President…I love everybody and at the end of the day, the day gotta end.”
Her remarks garnered various reactions across social media. Some commenters were amused and applauded the entertainer for being authentically herself, even when speaking on more serious matters such as politics. Others felt GloRilla could’ve used the interview to actually get younger people interested in voting in November’s election.
