Beyoncé Trends As Fans React To The Release Of Her ‘Cowboy Carter’ Album: ‘A Masterpiece’

The highly anticipated Act II: Cowboy Carter album from superstar songstress Beyoncé has finally been released and social media has been on fire ever since.

Fans of the 42-year-old flocked to the internet to share their thoughts on the project, with many praising the record as a “masterpiece”.

Beyoncé dropped the 27-track album at midnight today (March 29th). The record is the second part of a trilogy project from the singer and follows her groundbreaking Renaissance album, which was released in July 2022. As we previously covered, the musician announced the new release was coming during the Super Bowl in February and simultaneously released two singles “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em,” which had a historic debut.

Rumors about potential features for the album have been swirling in the days leading up to its release, with strong speculations circling around country star Dolly Parton. The country icon fueled the rumors when she claimed to believe Beyoncé was planning to do a rendition of her famed heartbreak song “Jolene”, which does, in fact, appear on the album. Parton herself introduced the song, and fans seem to approve of Beyoncé’s reimagining of it.

Some other notable features include the likes of Nashville TikTok star Tanner Ardell, country veteran Willie Nelson, rising country star Willie Jones, as well as chart-topping country pop stars Miley Cyrus and Post Malone. One of the sweetest appearances, however, arguably comes from Beyoncé’s young daughter Rumi. The 6-year-old joined her famous mom for the 4th song on the album titled Protector.

Thus far it seems the initial perception of the album has been widely positive. Several of Beyoncé’s songs have claimed spots across social media’s trending charts as fans share their opinions on the songs.

The majority consensus is that Beyoncé did not disappoint.
