Rihanna Open To Having More Children, Says She Would ‘Try For My Girl’
There’s a chance A$AP Rocky and Rihanna’s family will grow again!
The singer-turned-businesswoman recently sat for a magazine interview and chatted about her love life, motherhood, and (of course), music career. It’s no secret that fans of the “Rude Boy” artist have been begging for new music for years. Rihanna’s latest studio album “Anti” was released in 2016. Since taking an extended break from music, The 36-year-old has launched more than one successful business, entered a relationship with rapper A$AP Rocky, 35, and welcomed two beautiful baby boys into the world.

During her recent interview, Rihanna shared that COVID played a hand in speeding up her relationship with A$AP Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers. For those who may be unaware, the pair have been friends for years but didn’t start dating until reportedly around the end of 2019. According to the celeb, they kicked things off “with a lot of caution.”
However, the pandemic changed their pace. She continued,
“COVID sped up our relationship, which I felt like god knew we needed because we were going to start a family. And had it not been for COVID, we would’ve taken a lot more time to get comfortable with each other, to even know that we were ready.”

And added,
“I let god lead and just let go. Because in previous relationships, I tried and tried and tried my best, and you still feel like it’s not enough. So when someone sees you completely, and believes in you, and thinks you’re worthy of being the mother of their kids, it’s a great feeling. I felt the same about him. I knew he would be a great dad.”
It seems that Rihanna’s intuition was correct as she and A$AP Rocky went on to have two children together – RZA Athelston Mayers, 1, and Riot Rose Mayers, 8 months old.
When asked how many kids she wants in total, Rihanna candidly expressed,
“As many as god wants me to have.”

She added,
“I don’t know what god wants, but I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl. But of course if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”
Speaking on her music-creating process and seemingly giving an update on the likelihood of a new project, Rihanna shared elsewhere in the interview,
“I have a lot of visual ideas. It’s weird. My brain is working backward right now. I usually have the music first, and the music leads me into all of these visual opportunities, and now I’m having all of these visuals, and I don’t have the songs for them yet, but maybe that’s the key, this time. Maybe the visual ideas are leading me to the songs that I need to make.”
