Halle Bailey’s Rep Shuts Down Breakup Rumors After She & DDG Unfollow Each Other, Remove Photos Of Each Other From Social Media

Update (April 18, 2024): Halle Bailey and DDG are doing just fine, a rep for the singer and actress says.

The couple sparked breakup rumors this week after it was revealed they no longer followed each other on social media, and appeared to wipe one another from their pages. Halle Bailey was also spotted enjoying her sister Chloe Bailey’s set at Coachella without DDG.

However, Halle Bailey’s team tells TMZ that they are still together. Her rep hasn’t explained why they unfollowed each other.

Original Story (April 16, 2024); Celebrity couple Halle Bailey and DDG just may have called it quits.

Speculations that the pair broke up began circulating recently after fans noticed the two no longer appear on each other’s social media.

Though it’s unclear when exactly the cleanse happened, reports state that social media users realized Halle Bailey, 24, and her man Darryl “DDG” Granberry Jr., 26, were no longer following each other on Instagram sometime last week. Additionally, the couple appears to have removed most images of themselves together from their respective accounts.

Rumors were fueled even further following Halle Bailey’s solo Coachella appearance over the weekend. The Little Mermaid star shared videos of herself from the festival cheering on her sister Chloe Bailey, writing as a caption:

Notably, however, DDG was not in attendance. While neither has hinted at any problems with their relationship as of late, this isn’t the first time the couple faced breakup scrutiny. If you recall nearly a year ago, many thought the young entertainers’ relationship had gone sour after rapper Rubi Rose, DDG’s ex-girlfriend, shared a private DM he sent her asking to meet up. The YouTuber reflected on the situation during a recent interview, insisting he had no intentions of actually connecting with the musician and claimed Halle was fully aware of everything happening.

Despite the ordeal, the couple moved forward and went on to welcome their first child together late last year. As we previously reported, Halle and DDG confirmed the birth of their son Halo back in January following months of media speculation. Recently, Halle, who’s been dating DDG since 2022, took to her X account (formerly Twitter) to gush about her “little family,” writing in one post:

It does not appear that neither Halle nor DDG have addressed the recent breakup rumors at this time.
