SZA’s Fans Shocked To Learn Singer Didn’t Initially Like Her Grammy Award-Winning Song ‘Snooze’
As an artist, you can be your biggest critic.
Late last night (Apr. 24) Solána Imani Rowe, famously known as SZA, 34, revealed to her 8.4 Million X followers that she initially wasn’t the biggest fan of her hit record “Snooze.” The track, featured on her second studio album “SOS,” is considered by many as an undeniable bop. In addition to the tune being loved by her supporters, “Snooze” earned SZA a few awards, including a Grammy!
However, despite how well the record has been received by the masses, it apparently had to grow on SZA. Speaking on her initial feelings, she said,
“I’m not gon lie snooze wasn’t my favorite when I made the album,”
The post continued,
“but now it’s my favorite hands down .. played it at the beach and it was noiiiiiiceeeee. I’m late but thank y’all for riding til I got some sense”

Several X users were shocked by what SZA shared. One person quoted the post and said,
“She never likes her best work. LOL That’s really how it be tho. Real artists know….”

Another person weighed in on the conversation with,
“Girl that song has crack in it. Thank you for making it.”
