Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City’s Monica Garcia Reveals She Had A Miscarriage, Receives Love From Fellow ‘Housewives’ Stars

Update (April 29, 2024): Sad news for former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Monica Garcia.

She announced on Sunday (April 28) that she had a miscarriage.

She posted two black-and-white images on Instagram: one of her lying in a hospital bed looking at an ultrasound screen and another of her and another person holding hands.

She began in the caption,

“One thing I promised myself when opening my life up to all of you was that I was going to do it completely unapologetically and authentically raw as possible. I would show you my life in all aspects because that is what I agreed to do.”

She then shared,

“Unfortunately, today I need to share a very heartbreaking aspect. “There is no heartbeat” I don’t have many words and I’m still processing all of this myself. As quickly as this happened, that’s how quickly things have changed.”

She sent “so much love” to those “dealing with miscarriages, fertility issues, pregnancy problems, if you have an angel baby, and everything in-between.”

She continued,

“I am so grateful for my incredible doctors and amazing support system. I am so blessed to have all of you in my corner and I appreciate how beautiful you all have been to me about this baby. I love you and I’m so thankful for you.???”

In the comment section, she received love from other Real Housewives stars.

Dolores Cantania of Real Housewives of New Jersey wrote,

“I’m so very sorry Monica ??”

Real Housewives of Potomac Star Mia Thornton added,

“So sorry Queen, Sending you strength and love through this hard time. ???”

And Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Teddi Mellencamp commented,

“I’m so, so sorry Monica ??”

“My deepest condolences Monica ?”

Original Story (April 11, 2024): ‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ star Monica Garcia is pregnant with her fifth child!

During a recent podcast episode, Bravo phenomenon Monica Garcia shockingly revealed that she and her 29-year-old boyfriend were expecting a bundle of joy.

She hesitantly divulged with the hosts of ‘The Viall Files,’

“I’m… pregnant. I literally just found out.”

Monica Garcia added:

“I have not told one f*cking person… except for my best friend.”

However, while the revelation of her new bun in the oven may have already taken many by surprise, the 39-year-old’s spill on how she found out left everyone completely floored.

According to Garcia, an urgent care doctor made her aware of the life-changing discovery after she’d initially gone in for an unrelated health problem.

She said,

“It’s crazy, it’s so scary. I literally went into urgent care for something totally unrelated that I thought was wrong. Like… I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m dying!’ You know? And… the doctor came in and was like, ‘You’re pregnant!'”

As for the baby’s father, Garcia noted that she’d been dating her mystery man for a year, but she has preferably kept his identity under wraps.

She furthered:

“No one even knows who he is.”

Additionally, Garcia shared that she’d met her secret beau while filming ‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ at one of the properties he manages. The celebrated entrepreneur expanded,

“We were in the middle of filming… and we took a break. And I had asked our tour guide, like, ‘Is [my now-boyfriend] single? Is he dating anyone?’ And he’s like, ‘Well, he’s courting.’ I’m like, ‘What the f*ck does courting mean?’ Right? Like… I’m not in ‘Bridgerton’ times! I don’t know what that means. And he’s like, ‘Well, he’s dating, but they’re not, like, exclusive.'”

From there, Garcia proceeded to shoot her shot, and as you can see… she didn’t miss!

The reality TV personality concluded:

“I went over to him, and I was like, ‘Do you have a girlfriend?’ And he said, ‘No… I’m just… I’m dating someone.’ I said, ‘Yeah, I heard you’re courting, but you’re not like exclusive?’ He’s like, ‘No.’ I was like, ‘Give me your phone.’ He handed me his phone, and I put my name and number in there.”

Garcia has four children (18-year-old Bri, 13-year-old Jaidyn, 7-year-old West, and 6-year-old Kendall) with ex-husband Mike Fowler. The former couple finalized their divorce last year after a failed reconciliation.

She shared her reaction about baby #5 and said,

“Literally, I was on the urgent care floor bawling my eyes out. ‘Cause I’m like, ‘I’m 39! Like, there’s no way. I’m on birth control.’ By all means, I should not be pregnant.” 

Although still in “shock,” Garcia deems the journey an “incredible” experience.

As you may know, Garcia became a breakout cast member of ‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ in season 4 but won’t return for the next season.

Her exit happened to be one of the most controversial of the franchise, as she was exposed for being a part of an Instagram troll account that targeted fellow Housewives on the show.

Maybe… Garcia’s gossip days are officially behind her this time.
