Paris Hilton & Nicole Richie Gearing Up For Reality TV Return Nearly 20 Years After ‘Simple Life’ Run
Two early-2000s reality TV queens are about to make their joint return!
On Wednesday (May 8) longtime friends Paris Hilton, 43, and Nicole Richie, 42, posted an adorable collage that features images of themselves throughout the years they’ve known each other. It seems the ladies didn’t take a trip down memory lane for no reason and were possibly hinting at their next endeavor. For our readers who may be too young to recall, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie once had the world tuned in weekly to watch them learn about how the other side lives for their popular reality TV series “The Simple Life.” The show aired from 2003-2007 for a total of 5 seasons and is considered by many as the reason the nepo-babies gained a fan base outside of their rich famous families.
Fast forward to today, nearly 20 years later, and Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are ready to share their lives with the masses again. According to a report from TMZ, the besties were involved in an all-out bidding war as production companies/distributors duke it out for the rights to their upcoming reality show. Reportedly, they found a streamer, and James Corden’s production company, Fulwell 73, won the battle to film it.

As far as what the show, which is in early development, will be about, the premise hasn’t been revealed but insiders shared with the publication it will have an entirely new name. At the time of this report, it’s said that filming hasn’t started yet but the show is expected to be hilarious.
