Raven-Symoné Inks Multi-Year Overall Deal w/ Disney Following Cancellation Of ‘Raven’s Home’
One door is closing for TV star Raven-Symoné, but another one has already flung right open!
The actress recently celebrated landing a multi-year overall deal with Disney following news that her series Raven’s Home won’t be returning.

Reposting an article about her new partnership with the Disney network, Raven-Symoné, 38, wrote:
“Thank you to #disneybrandedTV for believing in me all these years and for years to come! Let’s get it poppin!”

News of the deal comes at the same time Disney announced the cancellation of her series Raven’s Home, which aired its 6th season from April to September 2023. Raven’s Home is a spin-off of the 2000s series That’s So Raven, which helped take Raven-Symoné’s stardom to a whole other level and sparked her decades-long relationship with Disney.

Although Raven-Symoné may no longer be in a starring role, the That’s So Raven franchise is far from over. As part of her overall deal, reports note that Disney has already green-lit another spin-off, a show titled Alice in the Palace. A logline for the series reads:
“The new series picks up when Alice (Emmy Award-winning actress Mykal-Michelle Harris), Raven’s young cousin, returns to England and reunites with Duchess Clementine (also portrayed by Harris), a young royal who looks exactly like her. In the process, Clementine gets a taste of the fun side of ‘normal’ life, while Alice gets a taste of the finer side of ‘regal’ life.”

Additionally, Raven-Symoné will produce, direct, and develop projects across linear and streaming, with a focus on multi-cam comedies. Speaking about her expanding her career with Disney, Raven-Symoné wrote in a statement:
“Disney Channel has been the canvas for my creative expressions since I was 15 years old…After years of telling stories filled with heart, laughter, and togetherness, I’m excited to embark on the next chapter of this creative journey alongside my Disney family.”
