Nick Cannon continued,

“It’s supposed to be a day where I get to rest, but I want to give all my kids the opportunity to connect and give me gifts, and all that type of stuff. It’s a fun day and I appreciate all the love that I get on that day.”

As you may know, The Masked Singer host is a father to 12 children reportedly ranging from 17 months to 13. Cannon shares twins Morocco and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey. He shares son Legendary with Bre Tiesi, daughter Onyx with LaNisha Cole, and three children — daughter Beautiful and twin boys Zion and Zillion — with Abby De La Rosa. He is also the father to sons Golden and Risen Messiah as well as daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell. Additionally, the comedian/actor is the father to two children with Alyssa Scott — son Zen, who passed away at five months from a brain tumor in 2021, and daughter Halo Marie.

According to reports, Cannon is set to film for The Masked Singer on Father’s Day, but he’s not going to let work get in the way of his bonding time and celebrating the holiday. Speaking on the gifts he receives from his little ones, Cannon said,

“I’m getting the macaroni necklaces, the construction paper card, all of that stuff, which I love. My offices are filled with great gifts that my kids have created and conjured up.”

While taking on the responsibility of caring for multiple children seems like a challenge for most, Cannon believes the experience is quite the opposite. He reportedly explained,

“I’m never overwhelmed, because overwhelmed means like almost when you can’t handle it. But I’m definitely overly energetic when it comes to all the energy that comes from my kids. I feel that daily. They drive me to thrive.”

Cannon added,

“It’s definitely from the time I open my eyes to the time I get to close them at night, it’s all about the kids the whole time. When you have 12, it’s definitely they’re the pulse of all that I do.”
