EXCLUSIVE: Laura Govan Allegedly Returning To ‘Basketball Wives’
Fans of Laura Govan are in for a treat, as she is allegedly set to return to Basketball Wives.
theJasmineBrand exclusively reports that fans can allegedly expect to see Laura Govan come back to the VH1 reality show this year. Laura Govan first appeared on the series in 2011 during season one of the LA part of the franchise. After taking an extended hiatus following season two, she made a brief guest appearance in season five.
While there’s no word yet on her storyline, insiders have shared with us that she has already started filming. However, it’s unlikely she’ll be a full-time cast member, as she might appear in just a few episodes or even a single one.

In the past, Laura hasn’t shown much enthusiasm about returning to the series. Back in 2017, she spoke on The Domenick Nati Show, expressing that Basketball Wives isn’t really her life anymore. However, she did mention the possibility of returning as a mentor.
When asked if she would ever consider returning to the franchise, the now 44-year-old reality star responded,
“The talk is there, but I don’t think so. I think at this point in my life, if I could go on there and be somebody’s mentor then I can do that, but not so much just to talk crap and banter. That’s really not my life anymore.”
Earlier this year, theJasmineBrand exclusively reported Brandi Maxiell’s return to the series after a brief hiatus during the first part of season 11.

We also broke the news that OG cast members Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer Williams were also confirmed to return the second half of season 11 as well.

Basketball Wives provides an inside look into the lives of women associated with professional basketball players, exploring both their personal and professional experiences. The second half of season 11 is set to return on July 1, 2024.
