Webbie’s DJ Said Working For Him Was ‘A Living Hell’ Before Killing His Wife & Himself In A Murder-Suicide: ‘I Dreaded Going On Tour w/ Him’
Webbie‘s longtime DJ, Notorious Brown, vented about working for the rapper before he killed his wife and turned the gun on himself in a murder-suicide.
According to reports, police were called after gunshots were heard at a Powder Springs, Ga. home on Sunday, June 9. When authorities arrived, two bodies were found at the scene, however, their identity was not immediately made known to the public. Neighbors also noted that the two had multiple children who lived with them.
Yesterday, Powder Springs Department Captain J.W. Holcombe announced that Notorious Brown, whose real name is T Gutta, and his wife Kalisha Seddens-Dunn, were the two who died in the murder-suicide, according to All Hip Hop.
Days before the tragedy, Notorious Brown, who worked for Webbie for over a decade, aired out his grievances about the Louisiana rapper on Facebook.
He began his lengthy statement by describing working for Webbie as “a living hell.”
He said he played multiple roles like chauffeur, security, therapist, and publicist, yet was underpaid. He alleged that Webbie’s team and others didn’t didn’t like working with the rapper, so Brown was forced to intervene and mediate. He accused Webbie of blocking others from getting successful, including him, and refused to let anyone profit off of his fame.
“It was days I dreaded going on tour with him. The n*gg* complains about everything! Being around him is like having to take care of my kids! We had to remind him everyday to take his medicine, or to not do some stupid sh*t.”
He later added,
“And yes he has a health issue that causes him to have seizures but the get 10x worse when he snort that dope! He gotta be the worse artist to dj for. YesI DJ’d for him for 10 yrs but i was always hoping itw ould get better.”
