Courtney B. Vance, Nia Long, Prince, The Isley Brothers, Fantasia & More Named As Hollywood Walk Of Fame 2025 Honorees

Congratulations are in order for several Black entertainers set to receive a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame in 2025.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce recently announced the next group of entertainers who will receive stars next year. Categories for the recipients include motion pictures, recording, radio, live theatre/live performance, and television.

Peter Roth, Chairman of the Walk of Fame Selection Committee, commented on the 35 celebrities selected, stating:

“I am thrilled to announce the distinguished honorees who will grace the iconic Walk of Fame in the Class of 2025. Each honoree truly embodies the essence of excellence in their respective fields. The committee and I cannot wait to see our honorees becoming part of this world-famous walkway!”

In the category of motion pictures, Nia Long will be honored.

Sherri Shepherd and Courtney B. Vance are being honored with a star for their contributions to television.

Fantasia, The Isley Brothers, Busta Rhymes, and Prince (Posthumous) are being recognized for their musical achievements with a star.

Finally, in the Live Theatre/Live Performance category, Misty Copeland is among the honorees.

Rapper Busta Rhymes expressed his excitement about the honor on Instagram, stating,

“I WILL NEVER STOP TELLING YOU EVERY SINGLE DAY!! THE BLESSINGS DON’T STOP SO WE WON’T EVER STOP!! THE DRAGON IS OFFICIALLY APART OF THE CLASS OF 2025 HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME AND I WILL BE OFFICIALLY RECEIVING MY HOLLYWOOD STAR!!”
