‘Sherri’ Shepherd Daytime Talk Show Renewed For Season 3
Great news for fans of Sherri Shepherd!
The entertainer’s talk show “Sherri” has officially been renewed for a third season! In a statement speaking on the exciting news, Sherri Shepherd, 56, said,
“I’m so excited to continue bringing joy, laughter and inspiration to our viewers. I don’t take it for granted that people welcome me into their homes daily and that’s why I greet them with, ‘Hey Family!’ Thank you to Debmar Mercury, the Fox Television Stations and all of the broadcast partners who continue to support and trust in my vision of bringing fun and comedy to daytime. And as we enter season three, continue to expect the unexpected.”
It may come as no surprise that “Sherri” scored another go around, as season two reportedly ranks second in women 25-54 among all syndicated talk shows.
As previously reported, Sherri Shepherd first entered the talk show world in September 2022. However, prior to landing her own series, the “Beauty Shop” actress served as a guest host of the now-canceled “Wendy Williams Show.” In 2021 Wendy Williams, 59, stepped away from her iconic purple chair to deal with medical issues. Amid her absence, several celebrities, including Sherri Shepherd, kept the series running by guest-hosting the final 13th season. In February 2022, it was announced that Sherri landed a successor talk show to “The Wendy Williams Show.”

The renewal announcement is a positive shift to the sad reason “Sherri” made headlines in February. As previously reported, it was reported that the show’s production manager, Matt Uzzle, lost his life to an alleged act of suicide. Reportedly, Uzzle was found dead in his New York apartment on February 13th. At the time of his death, he was purportedly being investigated for missing funds from production related to “Sherri.”

Congratulations to Sherri Shepherd and the entire “Sherri” team!
