Antonio Brown Calls Newly Drafted NBA Player Jared McCain A Homophobic Slur
Antonio Brown is bashing another rising athlete.
Last night (June 26) many were on the edge of their seats as they watched NBA hopefuls learn their fate during the 2024 NBA draft. This year’s draft will take place over two nights for the first time, June 26 and June 27. The first round, which occurred at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, saw 30 picks selected, including Jared McCain who played as a guard for Duke. The 20-year-old was taken by the Philadelphia 76ers at No. 16 overall.

Jared McCain
Moments after Jared McCain was drafted, retired NFL player Antonio Brown, 35, shared a harsh comment about the Sacramento native. Posting a TikTok video of Jared McCain dancing in a bonnet to his X account, Antonio Brown wrote as the caption,
“F*gg*t of the Day #CTESPN”

You’re probably not shocked that the former Las Vegas Raiders player used a homophobic slur as he often uses his socials to blast people for unknown reasons. Most recently, he was scrutinized for labeling WNBA rookie Caitlin Clark as the “Cracker of the Day.” In April, Brown was also slammed by NFL star Damar Hamlin, 26, for seemingly making a tasteless comment about his near-death experience. As previously reported, In January 2023, Damar Hamlin went into cardiac arrest after making a tackle during a game.

Calling Brown out for what he said about the scary incident, Damar Hamlin wrote on X,
“You was supposed to be an example setter. Now you the biggest weirdo we know! Get off twitter & go do some work with some kids or something. #PrayForAB”
