Beyoncé’s New Paris Wax Sculpture Receives Major Backlash From Confused Fans

Beyoncé’s fans have questions after another wax figure of their fav was unveiled.

Today (July 4) the latest wax figure of Beyoncé was shared with the public at the Musee Grevin in Paris, France. The sculpture was reportedly inspired by the multi-Grammy Award winner’s golden look from the red carpet for the Atlantis The Royal Grand Reveal Weekend in Dubai in January 2023. For the event, Beyoncé wore a gold custom Dolce & Gabbana plunging neckline gown with a semi-sheer column skirt. The stylish look was paired with a metallic coat in the same gold shade with giant puff sleeves.

The sculpture’s look was similar but in silver. The figure, wearing a plunging neckline bodysuit with a matching long silver metallic coat around its arms, was unveiled on a giant ring hanging from the ceiling.

Following the debut, countless of Beyoncé’s fans took to the internet to share how confused and disappointed they were by the figure. One person wrote,

“Who is that white women cus that’s not Beyoncé-“

Another said,

“At this point, she needs to issue a cease and desist on all wax figure makers! Just call it”

This isn’t the first the the BeyHive has taken issue with wax art of their fav. In February, the fan group compared the statue of Beyoncé from Madame Tussauds Blackpool Museum to actress Leah Remini. Speaking on the comparison, Leah Remini said at the time,

“I am screaming! This 53-year-old perimenopausal woman will take any and all comparisons to the beautiful Beyoncé!”
