The Jackson family tree is even more iconic than we thought!
Janet Jackson has revealed she’s related to some fellow musical and Hollywood legends. During an interview on Tuesday morning (Aug. 13), Janet Jackson was asked about speculation that she and Stevie Wonder are family. The “Anytime” singer, 58, confirmed,
“He’s our cousin.”

She continued and said the connection is through her mother, Katherine Jackson.
“Not a lot of people know that. He’s our cousin, on my mother’s side.”
She then dropped a couple more revelations.
“So is Tracy Chapman. So is Samuel L. Jackson.”

She confirmed that all three — Stevie Wonder, Tracy Chapman, and Samuel L. Jackson — are her cousins.

It’s no secret the immediate Jackson family is iconic in their own right. Janet Jackson’s career spans four decades and includes five Grammy nods. Her late brother and King of Pop Michael Jackson is still a legend 15 years after his untimely death. The Jackson 5, which included Michael Jackson, Tito Jackson, Jermaine Jackson, Randy Jackson, Jackie Jackson, and Marlon Jackson, also made waves in the music industry thanks to hits like “I Want You Back,” “ABC,” “Can YouFeel It?” and “I’ll Be There.”Also, singer and TV personality LaToya Jackson and their eldest sister Rebbie Jackson deserve honorable mentions.
Janet’s career is still going strong, and she’s said to be in talks of kicking off a Las Vegas residency soon. Meanwhile, she is still on her Together Again tour.
