Update: Jamie Foxx Wants Lawsuit From Woman Claiming He Sexually Assaulted Her Dismissed, Claims Whatever Occurred Was Consensual
Update: (Aug. 22, 2024): Jamie Foxx is ready to put the sexual lawsuit he’s facing behind him.
Per court documents obtained by In Touch, the Django Unchained actor argued that the woman suing him already tried to do so in a nearly identical lawsuit in 2020. However, it was dismissed. In addition, he reportedly claimed that anything that may have happened between himself and the woman, who sued using the pseudonym Jane Doe, was consensual.
His lawyer argued,
“To the extent [Jamie] engaged in any conduct as alleged in [Doe’s] [lawsuit], [Doe] consented to those acts.”
And added that, “to the extent [Jamie] engaged in any conduct as alleged” in the lawsuit “such conduct presented no serious risk of physical injury to [Doe].”
Jamie has asked the court to dismiss the case.
For those who need a quick refresher on the back story: Last November a woman filed a sexual assault against Jamie, claiming he sexually assaulted her at Catch NYC & Roof in August 2015. Per her allegations, she and a friend ran into the celeb at the bar and asked him for a photo. Allegedly, the woman and Jamie eventually went to a secluded spot of the rooftop, where he proceeded to sexually assault her. Jane Doe said he groped her breasts and stuck his fingers into her vagina and anus. He allegedly stopped when her friend came around the corner.

Original Story: (Nov 22, 2023): Jamie Foxx is reportedly being sued for sexual assault that took place eight years ago.
The lawsuit docs, via TMZ, were filed by a woman who claims she met the actor at Catch NYC & Roof in August 2015. She is alleging that when she asked for a photo, and Foxx agreed, he proceeded to place his hands on her waist before moving them under her shirt and then onto her breasts. The plaintiff says he then slipped his hands into her pants and rubbed her vagina and butt.
The accuser says she had to undergo medical treatment for injuries sustained during the encounter. She’s suing Foxx, Catch and its employees for compensatory and punitive damages.
Foxx has not commented publicly on the matter.
