Ice-T Explains Why He Stays ‘Outta Political Sh*t’: ‘The Blue Vs. The Red, It’s Gang Bangin’ To Me’
Don’t expect rapper-turned-actor Ice-T to openly share his political views anytime soon.
On Tuesday (Aug. 27), Tracy Marrow, famously known as Ice-T, was asked by a fan of his long-running TV series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit if the show had plans to return “back to normal” after going “woke.”
Initially asking for clarification on what “woke” meant, Ice-T fired back,
“What the F is Woke? lol Like I give a F*ck.”

After another X user defined “woke” as “tearing down my John Wayne statues and forcing me to erect a Spider-Man fountain that sprays gay beer on my lawn that turns it into astroturf.”
Ice-T expressed,
“That sounds Dope… F John Wayne.”

The “Colors” rapper then added,
“I stay outta Political sh*t. Like I said before… The Blue Vs The Red… It’s GangBangin to me”

As you can imagine, Ice-T’s commentary received mixed reactions. While some praised him for staying out of politics and not appeasing those who feel that his popular series has gone “woke,” others felt he should use his platform to bring attention to ongoing political issues.
