Erica Banks Faces Backlash After Posting Cozy Footage w/ Rich Homie Quan After His Shocking Death: ‘Sick In The Head’

Erica Banks has become a trending topic after Rich Homie Quan’s shocking passing.

The “Type of Way” rapper, died on Thursday (Sept. 5), just a month shy of his 35th birthday.

Erica Banks quickly took to social media to pay tribute to Rich Homie Quan. However, it was the content that caused fans to criticize her.

She posted footage of her and Rich Homie Quan cuddled up together, with him kissing her, in what appeared to be a bar-type setting.

She followed it up with a text that appeared to be from the late rapper, expressing his interest in her.

On X (formerly Twitter), she wrote,

“QUAN WTF!!!!!! ????”

Her posts are interesting since it was known that Rich Homie Quan had a girlfriend, Amber Williams. Sadly, Amber Williams was the one who found him with no heartbeat in their home on Thursday. His cause of death has still not been confirmed. However, there’s speculation that he died of an overdose.

Because of his relationship status, and Amber Williams being the one who found him, many fans blasted Erica Banks for her tribute, with many calling it disrespectful. She trended on X well into Friday morning (Sept. 6) as fans reacted to her posts.

One wrote,

“rich homie girlfriend being the one to find him dead just for erica banks to go posting him and their secret relationship is why i feel like side whores need to start getting beat up more. she posting him now cause he can’t tell her to delete it .. weirdo”

Another added,
