Beyoncé Snubbed By CMA Awards, Receives Zero Nominations
Beyoncé got a major snub by the Country Music Association Awards (CMAs) and received zero nominations for a CMA Awards, despite the success of her acclaimed Cowboy Carter album. The nominations were announced on Monday (Sept. 9), and it was quickly noticed that Beyoncé didn’t get any nominations at all.
Shaboozey was nominated for the first time for single of the year “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and new artist of the year.
Meanwhile, Morgan Wallen and Post Malone garnered multiple nods. Morgan Wallen leads with seven nominations, and Post Malone has four.
This comes after Beyoncé topped the People’s Choice Country Awards nominations list last month, with the most nods out of any other female.
