Nick Cannon Updates Fans On Mariah Carey’s Well-Being After She Lost Her Mother & Sister On The Same Day
Nick Cannon is shedding light on how Mariah Carey is coping after the recent deaths of her mother and sister.
In an interview with Page Six, Nick Cannon shared that Mariah Carey, who lost her mother Patricia, and sister Alison in August, is “doing the best that she possibly can” under the circumstances.

Nick Cannon, who was married to Mariah Carey from 2008 to 2016, emphasized the importance of family support during challenging times, stating,
“She’s doing the best that she possibly can, considering the circumstances. As a family, we just got to be there to support one another, show love.”

Carey confirmed the tragic news to media outlets on August 27, revealing that her mother Patricia, 87, and her sister Alison, 63, had passed away, though she did not disclose the causes of their deaths.
She stated,
“My heart is broken that I’ve lost my mother this past weekend. Sadly, in a tragic turn of events, my sister lost her life on the same day. I feel blessed that I was able to spend the last week with my mom before she passed.”
She also later posted on social media that she has had a couple of rough weeks but appreciates the love and support from fans and colleagues.

Along with grieving, Cannon noted that Carey has also been spending quality time with their 13-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, which he described as “the most important thing in the world to her.”
This is evident from Carey’s recent Instagram post, which featured her and the kids visiting the Great Wall of China.

As Mariah Carey navigates through her grief, her fans and family, including Nick Cannon, continue to support her during this difficult time.
