‘Friends’ Game Series In The Works At Max To Celebrate Show’s 30th Anniversary
Lovers of the TV series Friends will soon be able to partake in a competition based on the show.
Fast Friends is an upcoming MAX (formerly HBO Max) game show that will take place inside the New York location of The FRIENDS Experience, a two-story, 17,000-square-foot attraction with 18 rooms, activations and recreated sets. According to a press release about the series,
“Fans will relive their favorite moments [of the show] while being put to the test with trivia, puzzles and games that will keep even the most die-hard ‘Friends’ fans on their toes.”
An official release date has not yet been announced, but the game competition series is scheduled to start production sometime next month. Unfortunately, the 30th anniversary of Friends may be a little bittersweet for the cast. As reported, last October Matthew Perry was found unresponsive in a hot tub at his home in Los Angeles and was soon pronounced dead at the age of 54. Matthew Perry’s death was later revealed to be due to a ketamine overdose.
