André 3000 & Erykah Badu Reunite For Music Performance, Pose In Rare Photo w/ Son Seven
Looks like things are going well between ex-couple Erykah Badu and André 3000.
The musicians were all smiles while posing in a rare picture together that also featured their son, Seven Sirius Benjamin, 26, and even took to the stage for a music performance.
In case you’re unfamiliar, Erykah Badu, born Erica Abi Wright, 53, and André ‘3000’ Benjamin, 49, dated during the early days of their careers from 1996 – 1999. During an interview back in 2020, the “Bag Lady” songstress spoke about how their relationship has transformed for the better over the years and shared that the Outkast member has become one of her “best friends”. She stated:
“When we became boyfriend and girlfriend in the ‘90s, we didn’t become friends first. We were attracted to each other first…We had stuff in common, but we didn’t learn all of that until over the years.”
She added:
“Over these years, we’ve just become closer and closer as friends, as humans, as man, as woman…He’s one of my best friends on the planet.”
