Scarface Thanks God For His Second Chance After Open Heart Surgery
Scarface is expressing immense gratitude for being alive six weeks after undergoing open-heart surgery.
The Texas rap legend took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post featuring a photo of himself in a hospital bed, throwing up the peace sign alongside his surgeon. He captioned the image,
“This is the man, one of the most sought-after surgeons in the world. When I woke up from surgery, my aneurysm had torn the entire circumference of my aorta—certain death. I asked him, ‘Why me, doc?’ He looked up to the heavens and did this *point upward Emoji* . I’m grateful…”
In a previous post, Scarface reflected on how things could have gone differently, stating,
“To be upright and smiling today shows that God ain’t nothing to play with… It could have gone either way, yet I’m still alive…”
