UPDATE: Judge Mathis Reveals He & His Wife Linda ‘Will Be Reconciled Shortly’ After She Filed For Divorce

Judge Greg Mathis is getting his wife back, just like he said!

The longtime TV judge, whose life Linda Mathis filed for divorce after 39 years of marriage, revealed that they are close to officially reconciling.

He told TMZ that he heard his wife’s concerns about being neglected, and has been taking a break from working and spending time with his family instead.

“It’ll take a few more months for me to stay home. I haven’t left home since the time I got in trouble with her. I put off all my speaking engagements around the country, so, I’m home.”

He affirmed that they will “be reconciled shortly.”

As we previously reported, shortly after Linda Mathis filed for divorce, Judge Mathis confessed that “neglect” was the reason why. However, he was determined to get his wife back, telling TMZ in September,

“I’m at the airport now flying out, as I have for 25 years. My wife has been third. Serving the community, taping my show, having fun with friends. This what happens guys…never be too busy, never have too much fun beyond your wife.”

It’s safe to say he’s working on being with his family, as this week he and Linda Mathis spent some quality time with their granddaughter.
