Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg Announce Their New Liquor Collaboration ‘Still G.I.N.’
Gin lovers tap in!
Longtime friends and collaborators Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg recently announced the launch of their new liquor, Still G.I.N.
A press release published earlier today (October 15th) states that the musicians are entering the product under their award-winning beverage brand.
The new drink, which takes its name after Dr. Dre’s 1999 classic “Still D.R.E.,” comes after the global success of their first alcohol-beverage collab, a canned cocktail called Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop, which dropped back in February.
Still G.I.N. is described as “defiantly smooth” and “stands out as a clean, light modern gin that’s highly mixable – and supremely drinkable.”
The beverage is reportedly 85 proof (42.5% ABV) and is set to retail across the country for $34.99.
Speaking about the product, Dr. Dre stated:
“This is not a liquor that we’re just putting our name on…Everything is us from the ground up: the gin, the flavor, the packaging… Everything had to be perfect”
With Snoop Dogg adding:
“Every day in the studio when Dre and I were trying to make the dopest music, we were drinking gin and just having fun…We’ve been a part of the evolution of this gin…and it’s just so good! Dre’s a perfectionist: he wants to make sure it’s not just good, but great. Together, we ain’t gonna do nothing regular!”
Still G.I.N. is available for purchase everywhere now.
Will you be trying it out?
