Kim Porter’s Best Friend Denies Claims Of A Tell-All Manuscript

Kim Porter’s best friend is shutting down recent claims that the late model was working on a tell-all manuscript before her passing.

A new witness in the ongoing Diddy criminal case, Courtney Burgess, asserts he has a manuscript belonging to Kim. However, Lawanda Lane, Kim’s best friend and caregiver to Kim and Diddy’s twin daughters, told TMZ,

“There was never a manuscript written by Kim.”

Lane emphasized that she was Kim’s best friend for 30 years, including 20 years living under the same roof, and that Kim never wrote anything down.

In addition, Lane noted that the family is unfamiliar with Burgess, despite his claims of being one of Kim’s former associates. She explained,

“I was in charge of going through Kim’s belongings and distributing them to family and friends after Kim died. If anyone would have found a manuscript, it would have been me… and there wasn’t one.”

Burgess testified before a New York grand jury last week, claiming he also possesses sex tapes showing celebrities at Diddy’s parties. Earlier this year, a purported Kim Porter memoir appeared on Amazon but was quickly pulled after her family denounced it, casting doubt on its authenticity.

While Lane stands firm in her denial, Burgess’ lawyer, Ariel Mitchell, maintains that he obtained the manuscript on a flash drive, which has since been turned over to federal investigators involved in the Diddy case. It looks like it will be up to the feds to determine the legitimacy of these claims.
