‘All American’ Season 7 To Undergo Major Cast Shakeup: Daniel Ezra, Samantha Logan, & Cody Christian Out

The cast of All American is changing, and fans will have to say goodbye to several beloved characters ahead of Season 7.

Daniel Ezra, who has been the face of the show as Spencer James, confirmed his exit ahead of the new season. “Spencer reached his ultimate goal—making it to the NFL—and with his story complete,” Ezra told Deadline.

Along with Ezra, Samantha Logan (Olivia Baker) will also be exiting. After Olivia’s journey of ups and downs, she found her happy ending in the Season 6 finale when she married Spencer and moved to New York. But now, with Spencer’s storyline wrapped up, she too will not return for Season 7.

Cody Christian’s Asher Adams, whose story seemed poised for a bigger role, won’t be back either. Asher’s exit seems logical, given his new position as Beverly Hills High’s assistant coach and his new family responsibilities. Fans will have to imagine his future.

Karimah Westbrook (Grace James), Jalyn Hall (Dillon James), and Chelsea Tavares (Patience Robinson) also won’t be returning to the series.

All American Season 7 is set to premiere in 2025, though no specific date has been announced.
